Join Taylor Kaulius this March for a deep breath out by the water on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. EXHALE the busyness of the day-to-day in this bite-size retreat experience for women like YOU.
Our home for the weekend is nestled on an 18 acre waterfront property with access to the expansive grounds and gardens, a private dock, tennis court, kayaks, bikes, a gym, a library, and even an ice cream shop. Located just 1.5 hours from Baltimore, this ideal location is both secluded and accessible. We’re also a quick 17-minute drive from the charming town of St. Michael’s, offering opportunities to explore during free time.
Arrive on Friday afternoon and take a moment to set down your week, breathe, and settle into your room.
The retreat will begin with an evening slow flow practice + welcome circle in the spacious yoga studio, just a short walk across the grounds from our cottage. Afterward, we’ll enjoy the sunset as we stroll back home, giving you space to soften into the evening before a private chef-prepared dinner in the comfort of our cottage.
End the evening with a bonfire and s’mores - cozy up with a beverage of choice and chat with new and old friends under the stars.
SLOW MORNINGS, DEEP CONNECTION
Embrace slow mornings with a cozy cup of coffee, a walk along the shore, or uninterrupted moments to read, journal, or sleep in. Light breakfast options, along with coffee and tea, will be available to enjoy at your leisure.
Each morning begins with a 75-minute yoga practice led by Taylor – her signature vinyasa flow is a powerful breath-focused, and intentionally sequenced practice that leaves your body, heart, and mind at ease. Post-practice, we’ll gather for journaling, sharing, and connection in a supportive, nurturing space.
Afterward, refuel with a nourishing family-style brunch prepared by our private chef before you head off into your afternoon, free to spend each moment however you wish.
THE AFTERNOONS: YOUR TIME, YOUR CHOICE
Spend your afternoons however you wish:
-Relax by the water on the private dock.
-Explore the grounds, take out a kayak, or enjoy a peaceful bike ride.
-Read a book cozied up on the couch, or sneak in a nap.
-Visit nearby St. Michael’s for shopping, a bite to eat, or exploration.
EVENINGS TO EXHALE
Saturday evening mirrors the first, with the freedom to take whatever it is you need. Whether it’s early rest and reflection, or connection + laughter as we settle in after dinner, the choice is yours.
We’ll close our time together on Sunday morning with our final yoga practice, followed by lots of hugs, goodbyes, and safe travels. You’ll return home feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and reconnected to YOU.

I'm Taylor Kaulius - a yoga teacher + a girl mama (best job ever!) + a whole lot more. I live in Baltimore, MD with my lil family and my day to day is a teetering between being the best mama to my Gracie girl and Olivia Lee and growing my yoga business!
When I'm on my mat, I feel more like me. The layers of motherhood + business owner + wife unravel, and I'm able to come home to myself. This feeling is my big WHY behind this retreat - I believe with my whole heart that we are so worthy of having this opportunity to reconnect to our truest selves. And through my own experiences, and through those I encounter through my work I also know how many of us are feeling burdened, overwhelmed, disconnected, and uninspired in our lives
Through my teaching, through this retreat experience I have specifically crafted for you - I hope to help you feel a little more like you when you leave your mat. Already whole, already worthy. As you are.
My name is Megan and I photograph businesses owned by people, like me, who wear their hearts on their sleeves. While I love what I do, I don't believe that life is strictly business. My favorite brand stories are deeply personal, interwoven with details about the people behind the scenes and moments that take their audience beyond the basics. Every detail matters, especially the ones that you think don't.
So, before you give me the honor of telling your story, here's a little bit of mine: When I'm not helping businesses create content, you can find me taking the long way home with the windows down and my radio all the way up. I'm 30 years old and I'm happiest when I'm outside with sun on my skin and wind in my hair. I’m a big fan of slow evenings at home with a glass of wine in hand, cooking dinner with jazz playing softly. When I’m not cooking or cozied up, you can find me thrifting or walking around town with my man and a cigar. Dirty gin martinis (stirred not shaken), hot yoga, cuddling my cat, a perfectly cooked steak: these are a few of my favorite things.
I truly believe that the best things in life are the simple things. That love for the "day-to-day" moments is a driving force in my approach to documenting my clients' brand stories. Why? Simply put, because there is beauty in everything if you take the time to look for it.
